    Mercado de comida: Una alternativa para el turismo vegano.

    Decidir que desayunar muchas veces es algo difícil, ya que hay muchos restaurantes en el centro de la ciudad. Una alternativa que te recomendamos es visitar el mercado Slow Food: (ver más información)

    Aquí encontrarás productos frescos, típicos de la región, tendrás la oportunidad de conocer otras personas en favor del movimiento "Slow Food", cuyo objetivo es fomentar una buena alimentación.

    Este movimiento surge de la necesidad de combatir la comida rápida y los alimentos transgénicos, así como también promover la producción local y la conservación de tradiciones culinarias.

    Visitar el mercado Slow Food, es una manera interactiva de tener un acercamiento a la gastronomía yucateca, cuyos métodos culinarios y costumbres han prevalecido a lo largo de su historia. Por toda la calle se instalan varios productores yucatecos y visitantes italianos, alemanes, franceses, entre otros, que promueven sus productos, siguiendo los estándares que marca la asociación.

    Algunas de las cosas que podrás encontrar en el mercado son: salsas caseras, frutas y verduras típicas, recados yucatecos, leche de soya fresca, miel orgánica, panes, muchas especias y mermeladas.

    Si te interesa la gastronomía local, y disfrutar de una comida fresca, el mercado Slow Food Yucatán es una buena alternativa para el sábado en la mañana. Estarás cuidando tu salud y conociendo gente nueva durante tus vacaciones.
