    Laguna Yal-Ku

    Ven a sumergirte en las aguas más cristalinas de Quintana Roo.

    Escondida entre Playa del Carmen y Akumal, es una belleza más de Quintana Roo, sus tranquilas aguas son hogar de innumerables especies marinas las cuales podrás ver y disfrutar en su entorno. Nunca había sido tan placentero nadar, hasta que llegas a laguna Yal-ku.

    Uno de los secretos mejores guardados del Caribe mexicano, la laguna Yal-ku, que es resultado de la desembocadura de un rio subterráneo que se mezcla con el mar, ofrece el ambiente perfecto para los amantes del snorkeling.
    Sus transparentes aguas salobres, sirven de hábitat para una amplia gama de especies como el pez loro, sargentos, entre otros. El agua se siente realmente agradable, fría, pero agradable y la recomendación es llegar temprano, pues el cupo es limitado y el agua está más cristalina con menos visitantes.

    En temporada cuesta al rededor de 130 pesos, pero fuera de temporada la entrada es gratuita (sujeto a cambio).

    Como llegar

    Sobre la carretera Cancún-Tulum tomar la salida hacia Akumal. Pasar los arcos de entrada a Akumal y seguir derecho. Hay señales indicando cómo llegar a la laguna.

    Horarios

    El horario es de 9:00 am a 5:00 pm.

    Recomendaciones e Información

    El sitio cuenta con estacionamiento y baños, no tienen renta de equipo de esnorquel por lo que se recomienda llevarlo. Recuerde que los erizos son venenosos por favor no los toque, ya que podrían fácilmente perforarle la piel. No se permite el uso de bloqueador solar, ni el consumo de alimentos. El número de visitantes a la laguna es limitado. Hay guías que facilitan su estancia en la laguna.
